Danny Hoekzema completed his Master’s in Law & Technology (Tilburg University) in 2016 with a study into the regulation of self-driving cars. Immediately afterwards he started a traineeship at the national government. During this traineeship he worked at the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment and the Dutch Embassy in France. From this last post he was responsible, among other things, for setting up Dutch-French cooperation in the field of Smart & Green mobility. Privacy law and the regulation of innovative technologies were central during the traineeship. Danny speaks French fluently.
Because he liked the cooperation with and legal / strategic advising the business world, Danny decided to make the switch to the legal profession.
At De Roos Advocaten, Danny focuses on the areas of Privacy Law and Intellectual Property Law. Danny also has a focus on the Smart Mobility sector.
